Executive Summary

IU Health Connect is dedicated to offering reliable transportation services for students at Indiana University Indianapolis, tackling the crucial need for accessible healthcare transportation. Many students don't have personal vehicles and find ride-sharing services like Uber to be costly, especially for regular medical and mental health appointments.
IU Health Connect will be partnering with the Health and Wellness Program at IU Indianapolis to provide transportation to student's mental and physical health needs. IU's Health and Wellness Program provides many amazing resources such as addiction recovery support meetings, therapy sessions and nutrition information. I wanted to add transportation services to their list because healthcare services can be extremely complex and some students may have health needs that require them to travel from campus to fulfill those needs. Only 47% of college students in the United States have their own vehicles on campus so I thought that this would be a great addition to the IU Health and Wellness program.

This is Indiana University's Campus center with over 25,000 students in attendance it can be hard for students to take time for themselves and focus on their health as well as their academic success!
To increase brand awareness, IU Health Connect will promote its services through campus events, social media, and partnerships with student organizations. We aim to acquire and retain customers by offering special promotions and loyalty programs for students who use the service regularly. Establishing partnerships with healthcare providers like IU Health will be crucial to integrating transportation services into student healthcare plans, potentially including coverage under student health insurance.
On-campus promotion will involve distributing brochures and information at health centers, dormitories, and student unions. Additionally, creating a strong online presence targeting both students and their families will help raise awareness about the service. Engaging with student organizations will further encourage usage of IU Health Connect.By addressing transportation
challenges, IU Health Connect will support the health and academic success of Indiana University Indianapolis students, ensuring they have the resources needed to thrive.
