First Social Media Platform Utilized

I chose Facebook and Instagram because they are both social media platforms that market to two different age groups. Facebook is primarily used by adults older than 30, while Instagram is widely used by people under the age of 30. This is important because it allows IU Health Connect to market towards almost all age groups. Therefore, I chose to primarily use the Facebook page to market towards students at IU Indianapolis who may not be able to drive and get to their doctor’s appointments, and I chose to market towards college students on the Instagram page. Additionally, these apps are two of the most popular and most used apps right now, making them perfect marketing tools.
